User experience (UX) is the foundation of effective digital communication, as it directly impacts how users perceive, understand, and interact with digital solutions. In our environment, we systematically focus on designing, testing, and improving interactions to ensure that solutions are intuitive, accessible, and tailored to the needs of the users.
We participate in projects involving the user interface (UI) design for websites, mobile applications, and extended reality (XR) solutions, merging advanced design approaches, well-thought-out user flows, and contemporary visual identity guidelines. A vital component of our work involves user interface evaluations, where we uncover opportunities for improvement and formulate optimization recommendations through analysis, user testing, and heuristic reviews. Another major pillar of UX design and analysis is ensuring the accessibility of user interfaces, which further contributes to an excellent user experience for all individuals, regardless of any potential impairments or age.
By integrating research, design, and practical validation, we ensure that digital solutions are not only functional but also pleasant, easy to use, and fully optimized for users.

DARS Traffic
The “Kažipot” (Signpost) project with C-ITS functionalities focused on the overhaul of the Promet.si portal and the Promet+ mobile application. The Multimedia Lab designed the new information architecture, user experience, and visual identity.
NCUP 1
This project was centered on developing the National Access Point (NAP) for traffic data. The Multimedia Lab collaborated on the needs analysis, designed the information structure and the portal’s user interface, and produced an animated operational diagram.
PISO
The Multimedia Lab completely overhauled the PISO portal with a new information architecture, user experience, and visual identity. We prepared a series of promotional leaflets for core services and, on the occasion of the system’s 20th anniversary, designed the celebratory PISO20 visual identity.
